Meet The Little Sauce: Suzie Bakos brings her flavour-packed world to Jimmy’s BBQ Club

Who is this sauce?

The gorgeous, fiery and electric Suzie Bakos is the talent behind The Little Sauce. The Little Sauce is Suzie’s culinary brand, known for its sell-out supper clubs, bold hot sauce, and playful take on Iraqi food. She is taking charge of the grill at Jimmy’s BBQ Club for a one-off feast this August so we thought we’d share who she is and why this is so exciting.

Suzie is a chef, writer and storyteller whose cooking is packed with bold, nostalgic flavours inspired by her Iraqi roots and South London upbringing. Her dishes bring people together - rich in culture, heat and personality, with a side of Suzie’s humour. 

Before stepping into the food world, Suzie spent over a decade shaping content for some of the UK’s leading fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands. But it’s through food that she’s found her loudest voice - whether it’s through her cult supper clubs, her small-batch hot sauce, or the beautifully curated pop-ups under The Little Sauce.

Her six-course menu for the BBQ Club is a true celebration of Middle Eastern-inspired BBQ. Expect confit garlic labneh with za’atar manakish, sticky lamb ribs glazed with pomegranate molasses, spiced sausages, marinated chicken, and a sweet, crunchy kunafe to finish.

So, what is Jimmy’s BBQ Club?
Located on the South Bank, just minutes from the London Eye, Jimmy’s BBQ Club is our interactive dining experience right on the river. It’s part pop-up restaurant, part open-air theatre, and all about flavour. Our chefs grill elements of the meal at the table on Big Green Egg barbeques while guests enjoy a curated seasonal menu and drinks in a buzzing, one-of-a-kind setting. It’s a summer must-do, known for inventive food, great vibes and unforgettable views.
