Out with the asparagus, in with the peach!

Our Wye Valley asparagus has had a great run as the second course on our 6 course tasting menu. But unfortunately the season has ended and so it is time to find a new ingredient to keep the menu fresh, local, and seasonal. 

Make way for the peach. Grown right here in the UK in summer polytunnels, peaches are in season from June to September. We char them gently on the Big Green Egg to enhance their natural sweetness and add a touch of smokiness. Served alongside La Latteria’s beautiful Stracciatella, a rich, creamy blend of shredded mozzarella and fresh cream, our Hampshire peaches hit all the right notes.

La Latteria is a brilliant small-batch cheese producer based in the heart of London, crafting authentic Italian cheeses locally for exceptional freshness. For our vegan guests, fear not, as Julienne Bruno produce an incredible vegan stracciatella they call ‘Superstraccia’. Made locally in West London, it brings the same texture and flavour to the dish.

The summery combo is complimented by peas, mint puree, courgette and tendril shoots and is a vibrant celebration of British produce!
