Introducing Rotate: A New Chapter on the South Bank

This year marks 10 years of Jimmy's on the South Bank.

Over the last decade, we've launched pop-ups, hosted thousands of guests, and created dining experiences that have brought people together by the river. As we reached this milestone, we found ourselves asking a simple question: what's next?

The answer is Rotate.

Rotate is our newest restaurant concept, built around something we love but felt wasn't getting the attention it deserves: properly cooked rotisserie chicken. The idea came from a belief that great food doesn't need to be complicated. Some of the best meals are the simplest ones – quality ingredients, cooked with care, shared with good company. That's exactly what we wanted Rotate to be.

At the heart of the restaurant is slow-roasted British chicken, cooked until golden, crisped over fire, and carved to order. It's served by the quarter, half or whole, alongside bold house-made sauces and generous sides designed to be shared around the table. Developing the concept gave us the opportunity to strip things back and focus on what matters most. Rather than creating a menu with endless options, we wanted every dish to earn its place. From chicken-dripping potatoes and truffle fries to charred cauliflower, corn ribs and fresh seasonal salads, everything has been designed to complement the rotisserie experience.

The South Bank felt like the natural home for Rotate. After ten years here, we've become part of the riverside community, and opening a new concept in the place where Jimmy's has grown felt like the right next step. More than anything, Rotate is about bringing people together. It's the kind of restaurant made for long lunches, spontaneous dinners, family gatherings and evenings that somehow turn into "just one more drink".

We've spent months bringing the idea to life, and we're incredibly proud to finally open the doors.

Whether you're joining us specifically to try Rotate or simply happen to be walking along the river, we can't wait to welcome you.

See you by the river.
