We've taken The BBQ Club for a trip East!

For June we will be serving our BBQ menu overlooking the views of London at Roof East, Stratford.

We will be serving up burgers and pulled pork from our cosier version of The BBQ Club but still cooked on our Big Green Eggs. So come enjoy the sun with urban lawn bowls, Rooftop Roller Disco and London's only batting cages experience.

The adventure begins by transforming Jimmys front room into a restaurant for 25 people in Balham. Having borrowed the tables and chairs from the local church, and assigned the help of housemates to wait on tables, the flame was lit with raucous sell out evenings in Jimmy’s first London flat, let's hope the landlord’s not reading this.

March 2012- Savoyard Supper Club

Pop ups come to the Alps. In a cosy chalet and bar Jimmy took his popups to Courchevel, showcasing his talents to holiday makers and locals alike to 35 people at a time before founding a Chalet company out there.

May 2012- Wild Food Kitchen

With an emphasis on wild and foraged food, a warehouse in Hackney was transformed in to a five day sell out dining experience.

July 2012- September 2012- ‘Jimmy’s Olympic Supper Club at Annex East’

As all eyes were on East London for the Olympics, we converted a derelict warehouse in to an eight week popup restaurant celebrating the very best of British food whilst showing all the action on the big screen. From live music and DJ’s, to Olympic themed quiz nights, not to mention ‘Dodgeball And Dinner’.

May 2013- Sept 2014 – Jimmy’s Pop Up @ DVine Cellars.

The basement of this cosy wine shop in Clapham was transformed in to a 26 seat sell out pop up restaurant three nights a week. With burger and Bordeaux Thursdays, and six course tasting menus on a Friday and Saturday night, it’s no surprise we had a six week waiting list to get in.

Oct 2014- March 2015-  The Lodge, Balham

We brought the Alps to Southwest London this winter as we converted a sleepy shop unit on Hildreth Street in to an Alpine Lodge for 5 months, serving fondues, hot cocktails and wild game. With a two month waiting list, it was a most incredible journey for all involved.

April 2015 - September 2015 The Secret Garden, Clapham

An indoor garden, hidden behind a secret entrance, serving the very best British gardens have to offer on mini picnic benches? Yep, Jimmy did it again: From dill infused cocktails to the finest Oxfordshire crayfish, we celebrated summer in style, oblivious to the torrential rains and cold evenings.

UP UP AND AWAY

Exclusively for London Evening Standard Food Month, Jimmy Garcia will be putting on a one night Pop Up hosted on the highest restaurant over the Thames on The Emirates Cable Car. Enjoy a 4 course feast with drinks and cocktail pairings in a cable car riding over the Thames with uninterrupted views of London’s skyline. You will be able to enjoy canapes and a starter in the station reception area followed by a main course on your cross river journey and dessert on the return journey, all served with accompanying drinks and cocktails.

New Haven hand dived scallops, blood orange, crispy Cecina, apple gel, apple sticks, foraged sea herbs, pickled candied beetroot, horseradish snow in a frozen shell

The Outward Journey

Chicken & pancetta balentine, chicken drummer, crispy skin shard, mini fondant potato, onion cream, spinach puree, trumpet del mort, caramelised baby onions, red wine jus, baby carrots

The Return Journey

Small edible chocolate plant pots filled with Oreo and white chocolate cheese cake. Edible flowers, crystallised mint and basil leaves and edible chocolate pebbles, meringue mushrooms and toad stools, served with salted caramel

It's coming back!

After last year's sell out success we'll be reopening this enchanted venue for the summer in Clapham Old town serving rare breed meats and cornish seafood, delicious side dishes, and a showcase in bbq cooking! Please see below a sample menu to feast your eyes on!
